I met Billy when I became a member of LSCC about 8 years ago. From our initial introduction and onward, Billy was always welcoming, engaging, thoughtful
and approachable . He always made me feel like we had known each other for years. I will miss his good nature, his stories, his sense of humor and his kindness . He was truly one of a kind and a great one and I feel fortunate to have been on his journey. Rest in peace. Billy.

When I first joined LSCC 40 years ago, I met Bill. I was a beginner golfer and I did not know many people. A tournament came up and Bill asked me if I had a partner. I was a bit intimidated about my golf skills, but we became partners for the event. I will always remember that act of kindness.
RIP Billy

Bill was a great friend for 50 years or so. Played golf with Bill at Lake Shore CC probably close to 1000 times.
Bill loved golf…everything about it! It was what he talked about most of all. He could recall shots he hit decades ago as if they occurred just yesterday. Bill was club champ several times, shot in the 60’s several times and just this past year Bill shot his age…among the rarest feats for an amatuer golfer. Most importantly Bill was a loyal friend…full of integrity. Had so much fun knowing him! I loved Billy and I told him so…so glad I did!
