Eleanor Poteshman, nee Letchinger, 89. Beloved wife for over 68 years of the late Armand; devoted mother of Sheree (Bruce) Nathanson and Lisa (Tony) Andreotti; cherished grandmother of Michelle (Matthew) Somoles, Laura Carr, Danny Carr, and Jaimee (Alex) Vermillion; proud great-grandmother of Levi and Sienna; dear sister of the late Marvin (the late Joyce) Letchinger; caring aunt of Darrell (Denise) and the late Lynn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org. Chapel service Wednesday, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Knowing you was an absolute blessing to me. You are my inspiration, your love and kindness touched my heart and soul, your strength showed me how much great a woman can do. I will always cherish our laughter and friendship forever with all my gratitude and love .

Eleanor you were always so sweet, kind, fun loving, caring, and a true blessing to be around. A beautiful person inside and out who made me feel like a part of the family with your infectious smile and delightful aura. November 2024 I was assigned to be your caregiver and you completely won my heart. It was such a pleasure to be your caregiver and I will always cherish our times together. Ellie you brought immense joy to my life and will be greatly missed. Bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I love you. Rest in peace my sweet friend.
