Obituary

Bernard “Bernie” Feinstein, age 82, devoted and cherished son of the late Harry and Mary Feinstein. Beloved brother of Miriam (the late Sam) Barinholtz, Alvin (Jan) Feinstein, Wilbert Feinstein, Karyn (Joseph) Rossi and the late Bernice (the late Ben) Shenberg and the late Jerry (the late Joann) Feinstein. Devoted uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Bernie was known as “The Mayor Of Devon”. He served as a Chicago Police officer for 28 years until his retirement. Bernie was a Korean war veteran and proudly served his country. He was past president of the Shomrim Society and founding member of the Great Vest Side Club. His loss will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Chapel service Monday 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
