Mrs. Rose was a wonderful lady. I honestly cannot remember a time when she was not kind. I remember often after school when I would join Barry at home and play games such as Strat-o-Matic baseball, we would have either peanut butter sandwiches or pizza as we played. Even today, many years later, when I think of Mrs. Rose, I think of the good times and the peanut butter sandwiches or pizza. Actually, pizza continues to be my favorite food. I’m sure part of the reason is the association with such a nice person as Mrs. Rose.
Also, I remember often light-heartedly verbally jousting with Mrs. Rose, and jokingly would mention how the Cookie is going to crumble . . . always with a smile on both of our faces.
Fond memories of an ultra-nice lady. She will be deeply missed.
