Bernard L. Joseph, age 91, of Northbrook beloved husband for 24 years of Diane, nee Vitacca; Loving father of Alan (JoEllen), Larry (Barbara), Lisa (Raul) Asher Santillan, Jessica Asher and Pamela Joseph. Treasured grandfather of Benjamin and Jeremy, cherished brother of Harvey (Toni). Bernie was a member of Skokie Valley Kennel Club for over 50 years, including many years as president. He was also a certified AKC judge, bred and showed championship Great Danes. Bernie was a lifetime memberof the Lane Tech Alumni: also he spearheaded the incorporation of the alumni association in the state of Illinois. He was also President of the alumni for many years. A very proud Laneite-Go Lane! He was also a member of Rotary One of Chicago for many years. Bernie received an honorable discharge from the United States Army as a Sergeant in 1947. Chapel service, Wednesday, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 West Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
