Those of us in the Social Studies department felt we knew Sue as well as we knew you… You were always the devoted husband and support system in her life, putting Sue’s needs ahead of yours. I am so very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Drobny was my fifth grade teacher at The Academy of the Sacred Heart School. Back then there were very few Jewish people and she was one of the most nicest and understanding people in the world. I could never understand what a Jewish girl, like myself, was doing in a Catholic school. I took advantage of Doctrine class and mass too. I applied what I learned in Comparative Religion Class, as per Mrs. Drobny, and became the smartest kid around! I’ll never forget her kindness and enthusiasm.

RIP MRS. Drobny.
