Obituary

Oser Rosenzweig, 84, beloved husband of Andrea nee Wolfe and the late Arline nee Cohn. Loving father of Scott (Elyse) and Todd (Leslie) Rosenzweig and stepfather of Michael, Gary, David (Donna) Mendelson and Lisa Wolfe. Devoted grandfather of 10. A loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather and uncle. A proud Marine veteran of the Korean War. Chapel Service, Monday, 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 West Rand Road, Arlignton Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. I grew up on Culver Street, 2 doors down from the Rosenzweigs. They were not just great neighbors but amazing friends and even considered them family. I always remember Ozzie walking the little dog in front of his house, always with a smile on his face, a wave and a big hello. What a very special and sweet man. I haven’t been living in the old neighborhood in Skokie for a long time, but the memories are priceless.
