Goldie and I both volunteered with Bears of Hope. She was such a delight to be around. Her and I both wanted to iron on faces to the bears since we like how those gave the bear its personality. I will miss her.

Bears of Hope volunteers and I are saddened Goldie has passed away. She had been a Bears volunteer for three years. Goldie liked that Bears of Hope bears brought comfort and hope to children and adults facing a life crisis. She did whatever was needed to be done whether it was cutting ribbon, tying bows on bears, tracing the bear pattern, etc.. Whenever we had a Drop-in Work Day, Goldie was there with a smile on her face. She was a delight to be with and will be truly missed by us all.

Goldie has touched many lives through her volunteer work with the Morton Grove Public Library. Since 2010, she assisted with a weekly story time for young children and their parents/caregivers and also helped with special events. She will be greatly missed by all.
