Michael Bruns, 86, devoted husband of Sue Schonman-Bruns and the late Elayne Bruns. Loving father and stepfather of Keith (Harriett) Bruns, Lisa Bruns Santos, Elliott (Jennifer) Bruns, Betsy (Hillel) Amit, Peter (Becca) Schonman and the late Eric Schonman. Doting grandfather of Ethan Bruns, Brandon Santos, Noah and Danny Bruns, Ma’ayan and Gal Amit, Gabriel, Brooke, and Trevor Schonman. A kind and gentle man who persevered and succeeded through life despite remarkable challenges and hardship. A true example of the grit and values of the greatest generation. The family gives special thanks to Mary Ann Neymour for her 15 years of exceptional care and friendship.
