Alvin “Al” Brottman, 83, loving husband and best friend for 59 wonderful years to Eileen, nee Zimmerman; beloved and devoted father of Lawrence (Patricia) and Mike (Joanne); very proud and cherished papa of Danielle, Colette and Brooke; caring big brother of Florence and Sidney; dear brother-in-law to Herb and Daryl Zimmerman. Al proudly served his country with honor, during the Korean War. He loved to travel and paint, but above all, he treasured time spent with his many great friends and his adoring family. Chapel service Monday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 West Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
