Lauree Koltun, nee Singer, 61, beloved wife and best friend of Alan for 39 wonderful years; loving mother of Steven (Brandi) and Lisa Koltun; cherished and adored grandma of Avery and Elin; devoted daughter of Rosetta and Paul Singer and daughter- in-law of Nina and the late Sheldon Koltun; dear sister of Scott Singer, David (Sandy) Singer, Tracey Singer and the late Kerry Singer; treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many. Chapel service Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Dear Alan and family
We are so sorry and shocked to hear about Lauree.
There are so many fond memories we shared with your whole family going as far back as Beth Hillel.

I became friends with Lauree through lynn and Jenny I was 14 at the time, we use to go out in her corvair we all chip in 50cents for gas and make our way to California & Pratt to see the PC gang. Alan was Lauree true love from the start they where the perfect match. I had the privilege of standing up at their wedding and sharing in the start of their life together and continue through the years of watching their family grow with children and now grand children. My thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family during this extremely difficult time.
