My Uncle Bobby was a great guy who I loved very much. He got me my first camera and my love of taking pictures comes from him. I want to share a great memory of Bobby – I was in High School and he came to visit and brought me a STYX album – he had heard them play and they were the biggest group in Chicago – no one in Albany had ever heard of them I was the 1st kid to have that album and I wound up loving their music – I thought wow my Uncle Bobby is the coolest. Lady was the first song I ever played as a DJ on a local radio station.

Rest in peace Uncle Bobby until we meet again.

In 1975 Bob and I drove to Montréal in my car, which had a Stick Shift transmission. Bob didn’t know how to drive a stick shift car. So, we’d pull into “rest area” and Bob would get behind the wheel. I walked him getting into 4th gear. Then I’d go to sleep for couple of hours. Bob felt so proud to be able to drive a stick shift. However, he never had to shift gears. He only needed to remember to push in the clutch pedal and then hit the break pedal in order stop the car in case of emergency. We had a wonderful vacation in Montréal.
