Irwin Samuel Sagan, 76; beloved husband for 45 years of Karen nee Gilbert; loving father of Jason Sagan (Eva), Laurie Thomson (Jeff), and Michelle Sagan Kaplan (Darren); adoring papa of Jared, Ashlyn, Madeline and Annabelle; dear brother of the late Marilyn Glazer; treasured uncle of many nieces and nephews; special friend of Jim and Lynnette Yore. Chapel service today, Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. My heart goes out to all of your family. Although I only met Irwin once , I have heard many wonderful things over the years about him. I will be thinking of all of you and hopefully soon the clouds will be taken over by a beautiful bright sunny sky filled with all good memories.
