Obituary

Mildred “Millie” Rubenstein, nee Baskin, 95, beloved wife of the late Howard, who was the past Vice President of the Chicago Loop Synagogue for 45 years; loving and devoted mother of Eileen (Dr. Paul) Goldstein and the late Myra (Dr. Mervyn) Weis; cherished Nanie Millie of Minette (Stephen) Miller, Dr. Jordan (Stephanie) Goldstein, Jeremy (Darcy) Goldstein, Lindsey Goldstein (David Ross, fiance), Sari Weis and Jonathan (Lisa) Weis; adored great grandmother of Benjamin Miller, Jakob Goldstein, Harrison Goldstein and Samuel Weis; dear sister of Sy (Beverly) Baskin, Gloria (the late Jack) Kase and the late Hinda Baskin; treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many. Millie took pride in volunteering. She was the past President of Lincolnwood Eastland ORT, member of JUF Silver Circle and Chicago-North Shore Hadassah. She flourished as a realtor for over twenty years. Millie’s greatest joy and love was her family. Chapel service Friday 2:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
