Bernard Alvin Gerber, age 80, born May 11, 1935: devoted husband to Millie, nee Sherman; loving father to Gary, Marla (Doug) Seibold, Beth Silver (Ted Mellow) and Mariann (Scott) Weiss; proud grandfather of Lucas, Bennett, Arie, Jane, Joe, Zach, George, Alex, Sydney and Amelie; dear brother of Jerome (Lynn) and fond uncle of Michael (Lisa), Jordan (Lynn Meyer), Hillary (Jason) and the late Cory. Loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Bulls and the Blackhawks. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, www.ccfa.org, would be appreciated.
