Barb was always inspirational at our WW meetings. I loved her little trinkets and gadgets that helped bring fun into her messages. Our “connection” through common support of the Silver Lining Foundation also strengthened our friendship. Despite her own troubles, Barb was always compassionate and thinking about someone else. I certainly would consider one of a kind. She will be missed deeply.

I met Barb at my first WW meeting in 1998. She was my leader when I made goal (twice), and was a cherished leader. I hear her voice when I’m choosing foods. She was always encouraging. I was glad to have met Larry, Karen, and her brother in the past year. She was always trying to be supportive to the end. I will think of her when the Cubs win the World Series.

Barbara has been a warm neighbor to me and Bill, always offering to help. She has been my Weightwatchers teacher for 4 or 5 years, and has been an inspiration to me. I admired her for walking long distances every day when she was healthy. I will miss her.

Desiree and I meet at W.W. eleven years ago, that’s when we first met Barb. Right off the bat she made us feel welcomed and she would be there for us. We look forward to seeing her each week with her props and Larry’s drawings and her encouragement, no matter what kind of week we had. We will never forget Barb and what she taught us and her love for the Cubs. You will always be in our hearts.

Barbara has been my Weight Watchers coach for the past year and a half. She was a wonderful inspiration and teacher. Even as she was getting weaker, she was encouraging and upbeat. I will miss her. We often talked about our favorite baseball team. I love the little anchors she gave us and when I look at them I will remember her fondly.
My sympathies to Larry, Karen, Steve, and Marsha. She always spoke highly of all of you.

I met Barb through Weight Watchers. She was a creative and innovative leader. Even as her disease progressed she remained funny and outgoing. She is an inspiration AND was a solid Cubs fan. She will be missed and remembered.

Barb was an inspirational Weight Watchers leader for me at Northwestern University. She kept me on track, always had the right thing to say, and was always positive. I am sorry you lost her at such a young age.

Barb and I met in kindergarten and remained friends for the next 63 years. Her warmth, generosity, compassion, and understanding were unbelievable. Nothing was ever an effort for her, I don’t think the word no was in her vocabulary, as you could ask her to anything. We both will truly miss her. We know she is in a better place as she deserves only the best.
As Barb would say—GO CUBS
