Sanford Howard Kaplan, 84, beloved husband of Karen, nee Simenson; loving father of David Kaplan (Karen Schwartz, friend) and Patricia (Art) Dolins; cherished “Grampy” of Ari and Noah Kaplan and Sara and Michael Dolins; devoted son of the late Beatrice and Samuel Kaplan; dear brother of the late Beverly (Seymour) Salstone; treasured stepfather and step- grandfather, uncy, cousin and friend of many. Sanford delighted us with his sense of humor until the end. Chapel service Monday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
