Obituary

Norton “Norm” Siegel, age 87; beloved husband of the late Marley Siegel for 49 years; loving father of Barry and Chuck (Julie) Siegel; cherished grandfather of Lee and Lainie; adored son of the late Abraham and the late Anna Siegel; treasured brother of Edith (the late Jack) Tauf, and the late Lillian (the late Abe) Worshill; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Norm was a graduate of Tuley High School and the American Academy of Art. During his career he worked as art director for several Chicago-area companies. An accomplished painter of acrylic on Plexiglass, he was a co-founder of the Morton Grove Art Guild. In later years he greatly enjoyed his role teaching students as an art instructor with an interest in art history. Chapel service Monday 12:15pm at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jewish United Fund.
