Sharon Reinstein

Sharon was like my second mother when I was growing up. I spent many hours lying on the family room floor with Robyn sleeping or watching movies- and laughing until tears. Sharon always chatted away with us, served us orange juice and snacks, and made me welcome and part of her family. She even would chastise me with “Oh Genni!” and laugh away with us over our jokes and high school love and social scandals. Sharon will live on in my heart forever and her “headless” photos that she took for us on prom, homecoming, sweet 16’s and more will be preserved in my memory books. I have a feeling she is beaming down on us with her large smile from a better place- while holding hands with Robyn. I wish you much love and support during this difficult time.

Sharon was a dear friend of mine beginning in our teen years in highschool. We spent many a summer night walking and talking. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding. She was actually responsible for the blind date where I met my husband, Mickey. We had our first child around the same time and continued our walking and talking meeting halfway and pushing buggies. We spent couple time with Sharon and Phil too. Time and distance kept our visits infrequent. We moved out of the area in 1972. 2 yrs ago or so we had lunch with Sandy and Marilyn. It was great being together. That was my last visit with her. I have lovely memories of her and her family. My heart goes out to all of you. Hugs, Carol
