Irving Yaffe, age 90, beloved husband of the late Shirley Yaffe, happily married for 59 years. Loving father of Garry (Mary), Michael (Nancy) and Randy (Linda) Yaffe; cherished grandfather of Jerome (Sarah), Nicholas (Lauren), and Mark (Rachel) Yaffe, Lauren (Scott) Kalish, Maxwell (Michelle) and Cara Yaffe; adored great-grandfather of Connor, Sloane, Will, Juliana, Rebekah, Layla and Arielle. Irving was a friend to many and loved by all. Chapel services Wednesday 2:30 pm at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment will follow at Shalom Memorial Park. Just found out your dad passed in 2018. (Years after Lee, 11-6-2007. ) He and your mom , Shirley were so nice to me, while Lee and I visited during family celebrations at your BEAUTIFUL home.

sorry to learn of the passing of your father. he was a very sweet man, full of wonderful jokes. you may not remember me. we were neighbors many years ago when we lived on hoyne ave and you were very young boys. may g-d comfort you.
