Fred and I spent many good times together. He was fun to be with, witty, knowledgeable, thoughtful, compassionate and kind. He was my rock through tough times as we spoke on the phone weekly. I miss him tremendously but trust in God that he is now supremely cared for in heaven. I love you Fred and will remember you always because knowing you changed my life forever.

In the fall of 2017 Fred drove a rental truck with me with some of my belongings to my new home in North Carolina. It was a great time for us to visit! and a memorial trip for which I am grateful. Fred was a splendid, kind man for whom I hold a special place in my heart.

I met Fred about 10 years ago at church. We became good friends. Fred was very gentle, caring and kind. Things in this world did intimidate and concern him greatly. He wanted to make an impact and he did by his volunteering with his party affiliations elections. He was a good friend whom I will miss.

it was a shock to hear that Fred passed away… He had a tough time of things but he was a real fighter who never gave up.
