Dr Doblin was our trusted family pediatrician. He cared for my 3 sisters and myself. When I was 14 I had symptoms of arthritis and severe fatigue. After some tests he referred us to LaRabida thinking I might have Lupus. He was right at a time when not much was known about the disease. I will be 60 in 2019 thanks to him ( and my sister for her kidney). He was extremely knowledgeable and full of compassion. Without his diagnostic skills I probably would not have survived.
Rest In Peace, you were a special man.

Dr.Doblin was pediatrician to my 3 sisters and I growing up in Skokie in the 60’s. I know my mother trusted him implicitly and I am so gratefully having grown up with him as our family doctor. In addition, my sister, Sandie Garber Rubin, was absolutely saved by Dr. Doblin, who diagnosed her with Lupus and refered her to life saving treatment at LaRabida. His expertise and knowledge was amazing as was his compassion. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful man with his patients.

My sisters and I were patients of Dr. Doblin and remember him fondly. Our youngest sister Sandie was fortunate that he was such a great doctor because he diagnosed her with Lupus very early and referred her to La Rabida, most likely saving her life. May his life be for a blessing. We are sorry for your loss.
