Melanie Selak nee Stefanovic, passed away peacefully in her home on June 12th. Beloved wife of the late Martin “Mladen”; loving mother of Miryana (Ron), Nancy (Miroslav “Kika”), Lillian (Lance), George (Zorisa), Anne Marie; cherished grandmother of Miroslav (Jeannette), Stephen (Rochelle), Timothy (Jennifer), Alexandra “Sasha”(Miodrag), Myles, Andrew, Nicole (Venijamin), and Melissa; proud great-grandmother of Justin, Michael (Sorahya), Kristopher, Carter, Ashley, Matthew, Abigail, and Charles: and great-great grandmother of Kira, Gabriel, and Kai; and aunt of Magda, Jonathan, Snezana, and Olgica. Celebration of her life by visitation on Thursday, 5-7 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Family service at 7:00 PM. Private entombment on Friday.
