Gerald “Jerry” Pinto, 73, beloved husband and best friend of Paula, nee Lennett, for 43 wonderful years; loving father of Michael (Mindee) Pinto and Adam (Leslie) Pinto; cherished grandpa of Jillian, Ava and Jonah; devoted son of the late Adelaide and Sam Pinto; dear brother of the late Irving Pinto; treasured uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many. Chapel service Tuesday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Entombment Beth Shearim Mausoleum at Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.

Gerry was always a kind, funny man. We met Gerry and Paula at a time when my husband Mark Douglas and I were building a new business. Gerry was gracious inviting us to Seder, their home on innumerable occasions, answering business questions, giving advice, and always making us feel welcome. A good guy all around.
