Millie Gerber nee Sherman, 88; beloved wife of the late Bernard Gerber; loving mother of Beth Silver and Ted Mellow, Mariann and Scott Weiss, Gary Gerber, and Marla and Doug Seibold; proud grandmother of Arie, Zach, Alexander, Sydney, Lucas, Ben (Danny), Joe, Amelie, Jane and George; devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Sylvia Sherman; dear sister of the late Harold and the late Barry (Carol) Sherman; treasured aunt of Jonathan (Maureen) and Jennifer Sherman. Dedicated and much loved friend of many. She will be deeply missed. Chapel service Friday, 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
