Steve will forever be in my heart. He taught me so much! Treated me like one of his own kids. Zack, David, Ari- he loved you guys more than anything. I am forever grateful for the opportunities Steve gave me. He was a great man. I will certainly miss having a drink with the old man! Love Nick picciola

Stevie was more than our cousin, he was our dear friend. He brought joy to our lives, always with a story to tell or a photo on his phone to show. He was generous and loving, the ultimate tour director on his boat whether in Lakeside or Florida. We loved him, our family loved him and we will miss him.
Our deepest condolences to Rickie, Zach, Jodi ,David and Ari.

Dear Strauss Family,
So sorry for your loss. I will always remember Steve for his giving personality, his loyalty to Minnie and his uncanny James Cagney imitations. He was an unforgettable character and foodie who shared his gift of having fun with all he encountered in this life.
Sincerely,
Stanton Miller
