Martin Schachter, 82, beloved husband of Yolanda nee Szwajger for 52 years; loving father of Marcy (Ronald) Sklare, Harley, Jason (Shari), Lyle (Alissa), and Allison Estrin Schachter; cherished Papa of Andie, Jamie, Miles, Ethan, Alex, Spencer, Sam, Jared, Aidan and Noa; devoted son of the late Golda and Mendel; caring brother of the late Freida Saperstein Weinberg; friend of many.

We send our heartfelt and sincere condolences to Yolanda and all the family on Martin’s passing. He will be missed. We’re thankful that our daughters’ pairing on the tennis team at Highland Park High School brought us together. Our time together was always interesting, enjoyable and filled with humor. That’s the way we will remember Martin. May his memory be for a blessing and may all of you know no more sorrow.
