Samuel Ben-Rubin, 92, beloved husband of the late Sharon; loving father of Susan Ben-Rubin, Marc Ben-Rubin (Jeanette Johnson) and Michelle (Matt) Kanter; cherished Papa of Danielle, David and Ness Silverstone; devoted son of the late Esther and Max Ben-Rubin; dear brother of Rosa and the late Albert, Jack, Lillian and Laura; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Samuel was a proud Army and Merchant Marines Veteran. His greatest joy was his family. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Samuel, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Graveside service Friday, December 30th at 11:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
