Brutzkus, nee Fox, 96, beloved wife of the late Joe for 40 wonderful years; loving mother of Sharon (Joel) Stein, Jeffrey (Sandra) Brutzkus, Allen (Bonnie) Brutzkus, and Marion Rhordanz; cherished grandmother of Steven (the late Lisa) Stein, Jeremy (Elizabeth Wisinski) Brutzkus, Amber (Ahmad) Bridget, Jaki Biedron, Amy Metroplos, Joshua (Cristen) Brutzkus, Joee (Timothy) Taylor, Joseph (Brenna) Brutzkus, and Rachael Steele; adored great grandmother of Grayson (Yliangemari) Stein, Harrison Stein, Madison (Jacob Tonkin) Stein, Lyric Metroplos, Jovan Biedron, Ellis (Kylee) Biedron, Fiona Panther, Delphyne Brutzkus, Kaleb Steele, Emory Bridget, Bella Brutzkus, Palmer Brutzkus, and Henry Brutzkus; treasured great-great grandmother of Maximus Stein; devoted daughter of the late Philip and Bella; caring sister of the late Edward (late Phyllis) Fox, late Helen (late Charles) Fryer, late Myron (late Frances) Fox, and the late Morton (Susan) Fox; beloved aunt, cousin and friend to many. Dear Brutzkus Family,

Esther was a very special person. When my mom, Phyllis, married Ed, Esther welcomed her to the family as a sister. I will always appreciate how Esther opened her home when my mom visited from Vegas and could no longer handle the stairs at my place. And when Phyllis passed away, Esther was there to offer a compassionate eulogy when I was too distraught to speak myself. Know that I am thinking of you all with deepest sympathy and wishing you the comfort of memory.

Dear Mom,
You had one of the biggest hearts ever. You loved and accepted everyone for who they were. You left so many that loved you. You fought the toughest battle because you didn’t want to leave us. We are fine mom because you are not suffering. You taught us about love and the importance of family. I know you are with all of your family that passed before you. I also rest knowing you will be with us forever. Sleep well mom. I love you.
