Samuel Buchbinder, 76, beloved husband of Renee nee Zion for 57 years; loving father of Hope and the late Steven Buchbinder; devoted son of the late Jacob and Manya Buchbinder; dear brother of Edward (Judy) Buchbinder, Dr. Alan (Jane) Buchbinder, David Buchbinder (Lenore Joseph) and the late Ruth Nestor; many loving nieces and nephews. Graveside service, Friday, 3 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. I know this is a strange memory,I always loved hearing about Sam’s gambling prowess and trips to Vegas. At one appointment he showed me two checks from casinos for his winnings from his most recent trip . (I do understand all his trips were not profitable.) I had always hoped I would see him there on my annual trip there.
I condolences to you Renee he was one of the patients I missed the most when I retired( you were second).
