Obituary
Beryl Rose Hershman (nee’ Golden), 94, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Marvin for 73 wonderful years; loving mother of Dr. Janet and Don (Mary); cherished Gam of Meredith and Samuel; adored daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Golden; much loved sister of the late Perry (the late Paulyne) Golden and dear aunt of Paul (Nancy) Golden. Beryl met her adoring husband Marvin in high school, she was an amazing mother who was very active in her kids’ school PTA and for many years coordinated the vision screening program at Romona School. After raising her children, Beryl went on to complete her education and earned a doctorate in Counseling. Memorial donations in her honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org/donate. A private service will be held at Beth Shearim Mausoleum, Shalom Memorial Park. I was Adopted into the Seigan Family . My Mother who adopted me with my Father was also adopted, by the Golden Family . My Grandmother Florence was Beryl’s Aunt. Beryl was very kind to me growing up. May she rest in peace 🙏
