Obituary

Gayle G. Stein, nee Stone, 74, beloved wife of Alan for 53 wonderful years; loving mother of Michael Stein (Efrat Dallal Stein) and Randi (Carlos) Vega; cherished Nana of Tess, Seth and Sal Vega and Eliana Stein; devoted daughter of the late Morris Stone, Sally Stone Apfel and Sam Apfel; dear sister of Marlene (Stuart) Feldman, the late Howard (Gail) Stone and the late Marshall (Saralee) Stone; treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many. Gayle was an inspiring teacher for 36 years. Her love, humor, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org. Graveside service Thursday 1:00 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
