Dear Eric and Amy,

Your father was my favorite Uncle growing up. He was always warm, fun, and loving- like a great, big teddybear. I know that he loved you, your families, and your mother dearly. He was the best of the best! So sorry for your loss. I am in admiration that your family has chosen the Friends of the IDF as a way to memorialize him; it is also a cause I am passionate about. May your father bring you loving memories and may his legacy live on in you, your children, and in a strong Israel. As my father always said at funerals, “The Lord giveth. The Lord taketh. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” Hoping you find strength in the sorrows of losing a loving (and final) parent. May your parents good names live on. My condolences and love. (P.S.- Eric, I will always remember your presence at my father’s funeral.)
