Janet Warshauer nee Belofsky, 92, loving wife of the late Stanley Warshauer; cherished mother of Linda (Earl) Secore, Steven (Ronna) Warshauer and Nanci (Rick) Kahn; adored grandmother of Jason (Naomi), Jordan, Josh (Jen), Julie (Barry), Matthew and Shelby (Brian); proud great-grandmother of 10; dear sister of Earl (late Enid and the late Nina) Belofsky; fond aunt of David (Jimma) Belofsky and great-aunt of Joshua and Aiden. Aunt Janet was an amazing woman. Ahead of her time, she was studying psychology informally and provided comfort to many family members. She was kind and compassionate to me and I will miss her. May her memory be a blessing.

Jan was always so warm and welcoming to both of us. We moved to Chicago in 1994 and Jan went out of her way to make sure we felt at home. Whenever we had a medical issue Jan always knew a great doctor. Her smile will be missed most of all.
