David Cohen, 80, February 14, 2023; beloved husband of the late Linda (nee Silverman) for just shy of 50 wonderful years, loving father of Keith (Aida), Natalie (John) Stratton, and Renee; cherished grandpa of Karley-Ann, Matthew Conner, and Rachael Rose; much loved brother of Edward (Yoko) and brother in-law to Iris (James) Martin; dear great nephew of Shirley Cohen; favorite uncle of Adam (Julie Kleczek-Cohen, MD), Amy (Hayden Barney), Aaron, Joshua and Paul Martin; great uncle of Scarlett and Quentin and friend to all whom had the pleasure of knowing him. Memorial donations in his memory made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org/donate would be greatly appreciated. So sorry to hear about your dad. I am sure the love of his life, Linda, greeted him with open arms when he arrived. We knew each other when we lived in Schaumburg with growing families and lost touch when they moved to Wisconsin, (a dream of theirs.) Your mother was everything to him and he was devoted to her. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. May his memory be for a blessing.
