Obituary
Ronald Buchanan, 79, adored son of the late Earl Buchanan Sr. and the late Jacqueline Buchanan; beloved husband of the late Ruthi Buchanan, nee Gelfand, happily married for 49 years; loving father of Bradley (Lisa) Buchanan; cherished grandfather of Rachel; much loved brother of Earl (Marilyn) Buchanan Jr. and Nancy (Brian) Bosson; fond brother-in-law of Sandi (Nat) Gershman; much loved son-in-law of the late Dr. Leonard and the late Trudy Gelfand; treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ron was a past President of the Chicago Curling Club and had a lifelong love of the sport, dating back to his childhood in Milwaukee. He was also an avid sailor and enjoyed sharing this passion with his family.
