I was so sad to hear of Jens’s passing. I thought of her today and thought Facebook changed its algorithm again. I worked with Jen at Sidley and we were in contact occasionally. I will remember her for her kindness, professionalism, love and devotion to her family. I pray for the family and pray that happy memories will offer comfort.

I am so so sorry to hear of my good friend’s passing. She was my sports wife while in Chicago. We travelled to NU and Illinois football and bball games, Big Ten Tournaments in Chicago and Indy, and even a baseball game in San Diego. From our days when I lived in the city and we met thru the JCC, you were a good friend. Cancer, you thought you had it beat. You gave it the good fight and always had a positive attitude when I talked to you. I will miss you Jennifer Cohen. My condolences to the Cohen and Stephens families. You all are in my prayers.

To the Cohen and Stephens Families,
I am so saddened to hear about Jen’s passing. When I first moved to Chicago she was an immediate friend. She helped me acclimate to the city and eventually saved me from suffering through any number of sports events that Scott had tickets for. She was kind and generous. Always putting others before herself. It seemed no matter what she was dealing with she always had a smile and nice words to say. She will be dearly missed.

In addition to be extremely skilled and dedicated to her work, colleagues and clients, Jen was always so cheery and upbeat, quick with a warm smile and a kind word. Jen made our office a better and happier place to be, and she will be greatly missed. Deepest sympathies to Jen’s loving family, and may Jen’s memory always be a blessing.

Jenny and I have been close friends since high school. Everyone should be blessed enough to have a friend like Jenny… true, loyal, honest, reliable, and a joy to be around. Jenny is someone who would stand by you through thick and thin. Over the years we’ve shared a lot of laughs and tears and have helped each other get through the highs and lows of life. There are lots of good memories I’m going to cherish from our friendship over the years, but I think one of the most prominent lessons I’ve learned from Jenny is how to face challenge and adversity in life. The way Jenny faced her battle with cancer is a gold standard example of how to face life’s challenges with tenacity and strength. No matter how difficult things were, she was strong, stoic, and always had a positive attitude. Through it all, Jenny never stopped putting others first.
Jenny – I am going to miss you!! May you rest in eternal peace, my dear friend.

Jen was so inspiring in the way she faced cancer and the way she lived life to the fullest. She always had a smile on her face, a positive attitude, and kind words for others. She was an amazing colleague and human being. I’ll always remember our great conversation during Race Judicata a couple of years ago, and the way she took genuine interest in getting to know people. I’ll miss the photos of chocolate treats she posted on LP’s newsfeed on a weekly basis, which I know made many people’s day a bit sweeter. Rest in peace, Jen.
