Spencer always had stories and jokes to bring a laugh or a smile to my face, particularly as I have been going through many difficult
medical conditions. He even told me about a web.site that has Jewish jokes. Most of those jokes are old, but still did the trick.
We often just went down memry lane going over family stories. He was certainly the only person that I had ever heard of who had
been in a nursng home for such a long time and was able to return home. I reminded him of that often. I know how lonely he was
after Ellie”s death and I tried to keep in touch with him as often as I was able to do.
I am so sorry that I wasn’t able to receive the zoom of the funeral as I was at a medical appointment that I was not able to change as I had to wait more than 3 months to get that appointment.
