Morton “Mort” Borkan

God blessed Mort with his loving family who shared great memories of his life with all of us.

One of my best stories of him: David, Mort, Terri and I would vacation together most every year. Terri and I had a running bet on WHO would ask “where are we going to dinner” at the breakfast table. Sometimes it would be David, but most times it was Mort. She and I would silently roll our eyes and smile when asked the question. Mort loved his food! And we loved him. xoxo.

Thank you to Mort’s family for their heartfelt remembrances at the memorial. Mort and I worked together at The Alter Group for many years. I remember his gracious appreciation when I resolved a computer or phone issue. He loved to tell a story and he had many anecdotes to share – some were funny and some poignant. Mort was a larger than life person and he will be missed.
