Obituary
Iris Edith Cohen, 86, beloved wife of the late Burton for 42 years; loving mother of Michael (Jennifer) and Mara (John) Stroesser; cherished grandmother of Samantha, Allison, Kevin, Juliette and Maxwell. Iris worked for the Jewish Community Center for many years and most of all took pleasure in leading senior citizen travel groups throughout the country. Iris also enjoyed world travel outside of work. Aside from spending time with her grandchildren and the companionship of her dogs, she absolutely cherished her time with family and friends. Graveside service 1 PM Monday October 2nd at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dementia Society of America (dementiasociety.charityproud.org/donate) or Save-A-Pet (saveapet.org/donate). I can always remember hanging out with Iris when I was a child and having so much fun. I will cherish our last time together when I was in town this May and had a wonderful visit with her. Will miss her deeply. Lori Mitrani (Polin).
