Doris Arond

Doris “Dorrie” Arond, nee Whitman, 92, July 10, 2023, beloved wife of the late Harold Arond, loving mother of Ilyse (Ron) Smith and Dean Arond. Preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Sam Whitman, sisters Ann (Ed) Holcomb, Jeanette (Joe) DiGiorgio and brothers Herman (Elaine), Morris (Shirley), Nathan (Shirley) and Isadore. Doris was born on July 30, 1930 and shared the same birthday as her husband Harold. She was a lifelong Chicago resident, a diehard Cubs fan and great lover of dogs. Funeral services have been held. Donations in her memory may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
