Thank you to your family for allowing us to join you during the beautiful service for your beloved Al. It was wonderful to hear about all of the great family memories, and although we were not fortunate enough to meet him in person, we could feel the love that was shared throughout his life. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Poncer family.

The passing of Mr. Poncher deeply sorrows the tech department at Schurz HS. Our hearts go out to the family and Debra Neiman. We never met Mr. Poncher, but we can tell how wonderful he must have been just by knowing Deb. We are sending our love to the family at this difficult time.

Deb,
I’m so very sorry for your loss. You have done so much for both your parents and I am confident it did not go unnoticed. May you hold the memories close and keep your dad’s sense of humor going, as I know you will.
My thoughts are with your family during this time. Sending you virtual hugs. XOXO

I saw how much Deb loves her father and how dedicated she is to her family. How lucky you both were to have been a part of each others lives! Sending you thoughts of comfort in your grief like a blanket wrapped around you on a cold day. May the sun shine tomorrow reminding everyone of how special and good life is surrounded by those we love and who love us in return.

Dear Poncher Family,
We are so sorry to hear that Al passed away. We have fond memories of our visits to the suburbs up north, and the warm welcome we always received from him. We also remember Al for his ‘can do’ take on life. Please know that our thoughts are with you.
Thinking of you.

I have so many fond memories of Alan from my pre teen and teenage years growing up. I spent many days and nights at the Poncher home in Arlington Heights, with my dear friend, Debbie. Alan was always smiling, telling jokes, laughing, spending time with his beautiful wife, or chatting with me and Deb. When I think of Alan, I remember him with his Porsche, playing with his dogs, relaxing in front of his TV and just being a warm and fun person to be around. Both Alan and Beverly were always family to me, and I loved spending time in their presence at their home.
I send my deepest condolences to the Poncher family. I will keep Alan in my heart, with the fondest of memories, forever. Sending so much love to Beverly, Marc, and Deb.
