Obituary
Arnold C. Stein “Arnie”, 91, passed away April 11, 2023, beloved husband of Lolita Nicholis, happily married for 67 years; loving father of Nicholis (Mary), Andrea (John) Culbertson, and Diana. Treasured grandfather of Claire, Spencer, and Andrew Culbertson. He enjoyed spending time with Beau (Colleen), and Joshua (Celestia) Nielsen and their families. He graduated from Elgin Academy and attended the University of Illinois. Longtime resident of Northfield, Lake Barrington, and Clearwater Beach, FL. He had a storied career in the textile industry for over 40 years. He loved tennis throughout his life as well as photography and travel. Arnie was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who always had a zest for life. He will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial service Thursday, April 20, 12:15pm at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd, Arlington Heights. Inurnment following at Randhill Park Cemetery. Florida summer memory always had fun, Uncle Arnie was happy and playful enjoyed our time together and lunches at the Palm Pavillon. and all Uncle Arine and Aunt Leta’s stories from the family and so much more he will surely be missed. May his memory be eternal
