Harvey Hara, 78, beloved husband of Joan Hara, née Rosenberg, happily married for 57 years; loving father of Scott and Glenn (Katy) Hara; cherished Papa of Samantha and Benjamin Hara; treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents Leo and Ann Hara and his brother Sherwin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org. Synagogue service Thursday, June 8, 2023, 10:30 AM at Am Yisrael Congregation, 4 N. Happ Road, Northfield. Always a loving, giving, generous man, Harvey was like no other. His gentle soul nourished all of us lucky enough to share in his life, and his compassion and empathy was matched by his kindness and thoughtfulness. My Mother’s many birthday celebrations shared with Joan and Harvey are memories I will always cherish. My condolences to Joan, their children and grandchildren.
