Robert Tickman, 94, born in Chicago, then retired to Weston, Florida. Survived by his beloved wife Lila (nee Korman); loving father of Karen (Rabbi Aryeh) Alpern, Donna (Mary Beth McAvoy) Tickman, Dr. Ronald (Elizabeth) Tickman, Carl Kenneth (Vicki) Tickman; proud grandfather of Joseph and Talyah Alpern, Benjamin, Jeremy, Maxwell, Spencer and William Tickman, and Jennifer (Daniel) Rubin, Zachary, Michael and Allison Tickman; proudest great-grandfather to Layla Rubin; special uncle to Bonnie and Richard Shapiro; treasured uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews: dear brother of Jack (Maryellen) Tickman, Rose (Al) Pollack, Irving (Evelyn) Tickman, Mike (Florence) Tickman, Sam (Ethel) Tickman. Bob proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Les Turner ALS Foundation, www.lesturnerals.org.
