Robert Tickman, 94, born in Chicago, then retired to Weston, Florida. Survived by his beloved wife Lila (nee Korman); loving father of Karen (Rabbi Aryeh) Alpern, Donna (Mary Beth McAvoy) Tickman, Dr. Ronald (Elizabeth) Tickman, Carl Kenneth (Vicki) Tickman; proud grandfather of Joseph and Talyah Alpern, Benjamin, Jeremy, Maxwell, Spencer and William Tickman, and Jennifer (Daniel) Rubin, Zachary, Michael and Allison Tickman; proudest great-grandfather to Layla Rubin; special uncle to Bonnie and Richard Shapiro; treasured uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews: dear brother of Jack (Maryellen) Tickman, Rose (Al) Pollack, Irving (Evelyn) Tickman, Mike (Florence) Tickman, Sam (Ethel) Tickman. Bob proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.
