Brian and I had a wonderful Fall 2023 coaching our boys to victory in AYSO soccer games. I enjoyed our practices which were part instruction and part two dads goofying around with the kids. He was the ideal co-coach with a mutual focus on fun and teamwork over talent and victories. I admired his fathering skills always giving Evan encouragement. I was looking forward to a spring of fun, coaching with Brian again. His passing is wake-up call for me to enjoy the time we have, especially with family. I wish I could thank him for this gift.

I’m at a total loss for words. I have had the pleasure of working with Brian for about 14 years or more. What a tragic, tragic loss. My heartfelt sympathies to the Abrams family. Brian was always fun to work with, knew his stuff and was always willing to help. I truly enjoyed our non-work conversations which primarily focused on Evan and Ella. The sign on his desk made me laugh every day – it was something like “I’m absolutely sure I have no idea”.
