It was such a joy to meet and get to know your Mom. I will always remember her. Thinking of you and your family and sending love.

Michelle and I worked together many many years ago when we worked at What’s Cooking restaurant in Lincoln Village. We never saw each other there but we worked there in the same time frame, we remember some of the people. I hadn’t seen her for many many years after that and then I saw her at Home Depot in Gurnee where I lived. We got a brief introduction but nothing that was of any remembrance until as of late we were communicating on Next Door. We got to know each other slightly and then wanted to meet in person, she invited me over for coffee approximately 2 days before she unfortunately had her stroke. I got to know her that day and her family. What a sweet lady, so brave, you would never know how sick she really was. She proudly and with love, showed me everything in her living room that her children and other family members had made for her. They are very talented people. You could tell how much love there was in that family and how much they appreciated Michelle. I wish we were able to meet up again as we planned, but it will be in the next life. I know that she is not sick anymore or has to be brave anymore. We were becoming new friends, in my mind we will always be friends. I admired your stamina, facing unbelievable odds. You are an inspiration to me, I wish you were still here so I could tell you this in person, but I know that you can hear me, right now, wherever you are. I’m sorry you had to suffer so much but glad that you wont suffer anymore.
