Burton “Bud” Shulhafer

Burton Shulhafer, 102, passed away on April 12, 2024. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Carolyn Ruth for 71 wonderful years; loving father of Donna (James) Holmes, Joan (Scott) Osika, Linda (William) Bingham and the late Richard (Leslie); cherished “Grandpa Bud” of Sarah (Randy Tipton), Lynne, Jeffrey (Brooke) Holmes, Jennifer (Robert Heuchling) Holmes, Robert Bingham and Joseph Bingham; much loved great grandpa of Georgia Tipton, Emilia, Louis and William Holmes, Brennan, Madeleine and Amelia Heuchling; devoted brother of the late Gloria (the late Art) Greenman; dear uncle, great uncle and friend of many. Bud was a proud Air Force Veteran. He served in World War II and the Korean War and was a decorated Lieutenant Colonel. The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff that took exceptional care of Bud during his time at Captain James A, Lovell Community Living Center.
