June Kolber

June was a major part of my life, and Leonard and I spent wonderful memorable times with her and Shelley when they lived in Florida. After Shelley passed, June accompanied Leonard and me on several amazing vacations. She was always a wonderful companion. I am so lucky to have had June be a major part of my life. We called each “sister” and indeed she was a true sister.

Over the last 20 years I visited Chicago 3 times with one of my children, twice with Alex and once with Kevin. Aunt June always enjoyed joining us for baseball games and any activity that she could. One of the visits with Alex, we got last minute tickets for the Milwaukee Brewers and then proceeded to drive to Milwaukee and have a wonderful time watching the game together. Aunt June always made the trips special. I love Aunt June and will miss her dearly.

June was a wonderful person and thoughtful neighbor. We always enjoyed her stories including those of England, how she insisted on her Dragon Winged Begonia and we knew how much she loved her family. Our thoughts are with them and peace to her. We will miss her. Chris and Jeff Fox

Rhea, Warren, Scott and Todd…as you all know, your mom and I were best friends for 54 years. She was the sister I never had and I will cherish forever all my good memories. May she rest in peace. She will always be in my heart ❤️
